Vandals operating in Lagos trafic have devised a more daring tactic.
Two persons who nearly became victims share their experiences for others to learn from.
According to the first person “The new tactics out there in Lagos now is some group of 30-40 boys randomly rob motorists at the slight of any traffic.God saved me on Tues (Tuesday, May 11, 2021) around 8am at iyana isolo going to Oshodi.
“These scary looking boiz (boys) where all up in the traffic forcefully opening car doors,smatching (smashing) windows and obtaining phones and any valuable. This happened 8 am I say 8 am. Am yet to get through the trauma”
The second person narrated “ Be wary of boys coming up to your windows in the guise of washing your windshield. You wouldn’t believe some young boys washing car windows along Lekki-Epe expressway tried opening my car doors just two days ago around Ikate bustop. They were all over my car trying to look inside. I had my laptop and other stuff in the back seat. This was 4pm in the afternoon!”
