Details: Gunshot As Dapo Abiodun Campaigns For Chairmanship Candidate

Emerging details have it that there was a gunshot at the political campaign attended by Governor Dapo Abiodun yesterday, July 22, 2021.

Societynow.ng gathered one person was hit at the occurrence which came to be in Odeda, Ogun State.

But sources disclosed that the happenstance did not disrupt the campaign which had in attendance top shots in Dapo Abiodun’s administration and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun state that include Commissioner for Health Tomi Coker, former Senator Gbenga Obadata.

“The campaign held in the open field close to the Local Government poultry and the gunshot happened on the road, among the fringe of the crowd that came for the campaign” societynow.ng learned.

Details available have it that the victim of the gunshot is believed to have died after he was transferred to Odeda General Hospital from another health facility.

Societynow.ng, however, gathered that the perception is that the gunshot incident is not politically related.

The talks on the street are that the occurrence is gang-related.

Abiodun and his team where in Odeda to amass support for the candidates of his party, APC for Saturday’s Local Government election.

Adeyemi Waliat Folashade is identified as the APC Candidate for the position of chairman while Nasiru Yaya Adigun is the vice.
