Details: Gov Dapo Abiodun’s Aide Working For PDP’S Guber Candidate Jegede Against Re-Election Of Akeredolu

Emerging details have it that one of the aides of Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun is working against the re-election of Rotimi Akeredolu the Governor of Ondo State.

Akeredolu and Abiodun are chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Abiodun’s aide that is working for Eyitayo Jegede, the gubernatorial candidate of rival People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to become the next Governor of Ondo state is identified as Kayode Akinmade.
Akinmade is one of the appointed consultants to the Governor of Ogun State.

‘’He is on the wage bill of Ogun state as a media consultant, he majors in issues that has to do with traditional media for the governor’’ societynow.ng learned.

Insiders confirmed that Akinmade is part of the strategy team executing the gubernatorial campaign of Jegede in Ondo State – a role he is not unfamiliar with.

Akinmade is a former Commissioner for information in Ondo State, he was a commissioner in the People’s Democratic Party government of former Governor Olusegun Mimiko. He was also one of the party’s senatorial hopeful for the 2019 general election in Ondo State societynow.ng confirmed.

‘’He served as a commissioner along with Jegede who was the commissioner for Finance and was a part of Jegede’s failed campaign to succeed Mimiko as the governor of Ondo State’’ Societynow.ng learned.
