Details: Gov Abiodun Caught Flat-Footed As All Council Chairmen In Ogun State Land In A Big Fix

Details available to societynow.ng revealed that all the council chairmen in Ogun State are in a big mess.

And they are running helter-skelter to find a solution to the situation that caught even Governor Dapo Abiodun flat-footed.

Sources disclosed that “past political office holders” agitating for their severance packages have secured a court order that freezes the bank accounts of all local governments in Ogun state.

Insiders disclosed that the order originated from a case instituted in Oyo state.

Societynow.ng gathered that the order was secured last week and those behind the case issued letters to bankers of the local governments to effect the order.

The information available revealed that the development has put the council chairmen in a fix, as it “heavily hammers” the activities of the council and created a mess for them.

“The council chairmen, the Governor and all those affected were caught flat-footed” societynow.ng learned.

There are talks some of the bank accounts of the state government are affected by the order.

Insiders disclosed that the government is, however, working to find a solution to the “mess”.
