Popular actress Funke Akindele and her husband JJC Skillz have admitted their guilt (Abdulrasheed Bello) for staging a house party in the midst of lockdown ordered by the Federal Government in the right against coronavirus.
They were arraigned at the magistrate court in Ogba -today Monday, April 6, 2020 – in a courtroom filled with journalists and many others interested in the case, despite the lockdown order.

Funke Akindele was arrested yesterday by the police while her husband JJC was ordered to report himself early today, along with another guest at the controversial house party – Singer Naira Marley (Azeez Fashola).
The trouble started for the Bellos when the actress’s husband released a live video of the party and a lot of social media users latched onto it with heavy criticism.
Funke’s husband took the criticism headlong with scathing words for his critics and all those that condemned the party – a move that resulted in a massive campaign for the law to take its course against him and his wife as a deterrent to others.
The actress, when she releases a video meant to stem the tide only fueled the campaign the arrest and prosecution of herself and her husband.
