Kola Abiola, the Presidential candidate of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) is preparing to be in Ogun State.
SocietyNow.Ng gathered that the primary objective of the visit is to hold a joint campaign with Cyrus Oluwaseun Johnson, the gubernatorial candidate of his party in the state.
Oluwaseun Johnson, a professional accountant and certified blockchain expert is leveraging on past experiences as a Federal Huse of Representatives candidate (2011 and 2019) to make a PRP formidable in Ogun state for the 2023 election.
The gubernatorial candidate that destiny played a major part in his emergence – after the demise of David Bamgbose, the initial flagbearer in September 2022 – is said to be leveraging bits parts campaigns to achieve his objectives.
The visit of Kola Abiola planned for the first week in January 2023 is expected to glue the bit parts campaigns into a formidable whole that would galvanize greater support for both the Presidential and gubernatorial candidates and other flag bearers on the bill of the People’s Redemption Party in the state.
Abiola’s campaign in Ogun state will be a “Town Hall meeting” with stakeholders and supporters SocietyNow.Ng.
The earmarked campaign by the son of the late pillar of democracy – Moshood Kashimawo Abiola – who is trying to replicate the famed victory of his legendary father in the canceled June 1993 election is meant to galvanize greater support for the PRP in Ogun state.
