Details As Dapo Abiodun Accuses Amosun Of N240billion Fraud!

Governor of Ogun state Dapo Abiodun has accused his predecessor Ibikunle Amosun of N240billion fraud.

The immediate past Governor of Ogun state is accused of inflating the wage bill in Ogun state by N2.5billion per month.

Amosun – now Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria – governed Ogun state for a two-term of 8years.

Abiodun’s allegation comes on the heels of the accusation he lied over claims of borrowing N7billion to pay the wage bill since he took office on May 29, 2019.

Allied People’s Movement, the political party which the former Governor backed to make his preferred choice Adekunle Akinlade his successor came hard at Governor Abiodun over the N7billion wage bill claim.

Party labeled Governor Abiodun’s claim as lies and height of irresponsibility in a widely spread statement.

Reaction to the APM’s claim, Abiodun’s Chief Press Secretary Kunle Somorin reacting on behalf of his principal stated in part’’…They aren’t talking about the inflated wage bill. Amosun claims to be paying N2.5bn higher than what was borrowed to pay in full.”

“Where was Amosun keeping the over N2.5bn monthly for the 96 months he governed Ogun State?”.

N2.5billion for the 96months which made up the eight years Amosun ruled Ogun state amounts to N240billion.
