Wasiu Alabi Ajibola Odetola, the popular Fuji musician known as Pasuma has declared that “Nigerian youths are not backing off soon’’ in staging the #EndSars protests rocking different parts of the country.

Pasuma takes this stance believed to be aimed at winning back fans barely 48hrs after he was humiliated at the #EndSars protest ground in Alausa, Lagos State and safe behind his video camera.

Real Reasons #EndSars Protesters Humiliated Popular Fuji Musician Pasuma

The popular musician asserted toward the end of a newly released video denying his humiliation and pledging “one hundred percent support” to the objectives of the #EndSars protests

“..And one more thing Federal government and state government of Nigeria, the Nigerian youths are not backing off soon until tie ba gbo nkan ti an bere, tie ba gbowa (you hear what we are saying), we are not backing off, eni lati gbo ohun ti anso (you need to listen to what we are saying), ati soro soke bayi o, won ti gbo wa, ati soro bayi, etin gbo,(We have spoken up now, They have heard us, we have spoken up, you are hearing ) we need new Nigeria, Nigeria needs to be great again, Nigeria youths, I am in support, I am with you hundred percent, we are in this together, may God bless Nigeria, may God bless Nigerian youths, great great great Nigerian youths, Great Great Great Nigerian youths, thank you so very much.”

The position canvassed by the artist in the video released today, Tuesday, October 20, 2020 is directly against that of political leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and revered monarch Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

Both leaders urged the protesters to change tactics by calling off the protests to give the government room to implement some of the accepted demands.

Pasuma addressing the #EndSars protesters in the video, Pasuma stated ‘We are all in this together, we are the giant of Africa before and I believe we are coming back strongly to become the lion of Africa again, so why wont I support, I am I support of what they are asking for so I say endsars, endpolicebrutality, stop killing our youths, stop killing Nigerian youths they are the leaders of tomorrow.’’

In the face of evidences – including a video – confirming his humiliation at the Alausa protest ground on Sunday, October 18, 2020 the musician asserted

“And for those of you spreading fake rumour that I was chased away at the protest ground I say, Feem.(keep shut).
