Deep Pocket Ibrahim IBD Dende In Fresh Controversy

Emerging details have it that billionaire businessman Ibrahim Egungbohun better known as Dende is engulfed in a fresh controversy.

The deep pocket behind multi-faceted business interests operating under the business name IBD Investment is accused of gaining from the anguish of his kinsmen.

According to emerging details, the men of the Nigerian Customs Service seized some petroleum product laden trucks in the Idiroko area-recently. The trucks reportedly belong to petroleum dealers in the border town where Dende is a major player.

The development reportedly transpired in the second week of November 2019.

The trucks were seized after the federal government banned the sale of petroleum products in border towns.

Sources claim Dende was one of the big players the victims of the Customs operatives pleaded to help secure the release of the trucks.

Dende, a well-known figure in the land border business is believed to have a strong influence on the top hierarchy of the customs as a result of the volume of the trade he does.

Societynow.ng gathered that Dende’s intervention could not secure the release of the seized trucks, about 24 filled according to sources.

Insiders, however, disclosed that the cause of controversy trailing Dende is not about the inability to help his kinsmen secure the mega-money seized goods but emerging talks that Dende and two other top players pooled resources to buy some of the petrol products in a very lucrative deal.

The other individuals named in the deal are Sunday Ajileye A.K.A Ibadan (Julanky) and Akeem Kadiri A.K.A Akebaje (KADKEEM).

According to raging talks those the trucks were seized from are raising so much hell over the incident that Dende, Julanky and Kadeem are being branded ‘’betrayers’’ across town and there are added talks the uproar has sparked off an official investigation into development.
