Oil man making a mark in the politics of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun is back on the lips of many.

And he is wrapped in rejuvenated talks of alleged extra ordinary rapport with embattled Petrol Minister, Diezani Allison Madueke.

The man Senator Buruji Kashamu pipped to his present position – at the polls- in the Senate is said to have enjoyed relationship that earned him life changing fortune with Madueke while she reigned as Petrol Minister.
According to information the Hedyen boss had used extra ordinary relationship with the then minister to corner mouth watering deals.

The earnings from the business deals had earned him a lifestyle that resulted in reports of acquisiton of a Private Jet.

The talks which had doused Abiodun a couple of times in the past had reportedly transformed him a person of interest of anti corruption agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The agency had reportedly extended beamed it’s search lights on transactionn carried out by Dapo Abiodun and his Heyden petroleum when Diezani was in office as part of elaborate investigation into massive corruption allegations against the former Minister.

Loyalists of Dapo Abiodun currently making a name as politician in Ogun state – with long range gubernatorial interest – operating under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress had hit town to contain the situation.

They had managed to minimised the talks – until now.

Recent happenstance has yanked off blanket put on the yarns.

Emerging details reveal Dapo Abiodun and his Heyden petroleum owed the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC) N2.1billion.

The huge debt is said to be for products allocated to Heyden for distribution.

The bulk of the debt is believed to have been incurred under the watch of embattled former Petroleum Minister Diezani Madueke.

The development has dredged up talks of extra ordinary rapport that translated into big business for the Heyden boss between him and Madueke.

Sources disclose opponents, particularly in politics are speedily picking up this resurgent story and waxing all manners of lyrics all over town about it.

”They are trying to gain political mileage against him, especially focusing on talks of interest from the EFCC” a source pointed out.

How the the oil man turned politician intends to stem the rising tide remains inclear at press time.
