Governor of Ogun State Dapo Abiodun has changed tactics in the distribution of the relied packages in Ogun State.

The Governor who targets 500,000 homes in the distribution of the relief packages has incorporated Radio Presenters into the distribution chain.

Societynow.ng learned that the presenters give out relief packages from the state to callers soliciting for help on live programs.

“The idea is to reach out to the masses and let people know that It is not an audio relief scheme that the state is doing” a source stated.

Audio is the street jargon for fake.

The giving out of relief packages in Ogun state started off on a shaky note with some people claiming the governor failed to live up to expectation in what they were given and the number of beneficiaries in their areas.

The Governor and his co-administrators immediately went on an aggressive sensitization to correct the impression and educate the populace on who the packages are for and what they are.

The Administration has been evolving different strategies – including involving Radio Presenters – to contend with day to day challenges to getting the relief packages to the vulnerable since then societynow.ng learned.
