Dancing Senator Demola Adeleke, Insurance Boss Akin Ogunbiyi In Bitter Fight

Dancing Demola Adeleke and insurance guru Akin Ogunbiyi are engaged in a fresh fight.

And the cause remains the same.

Both chieftains of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) want the party ticket for the 2022 Osun state gubernatorial election.

Adeleke beat Ogunbiyi to the ticket in 2018 and wants the situation to remain the same.

But Ogunbiy and his backers are fighting hard to change the equation.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that the insurance guru’s determination is fueled by claims that the other side failed to stick to the terms of a deal that gave the ticket to Adeleke in 2018.

According to narrative bandied about town, former Senate President Bukola Saraki intervened in the intense rivalry between Adeleke and Ogunbiyi in 2018 – and facilitated a deal that gave the gubernatorial ticket to Adeleke and a Senatorial ticket to Ogunbiyi.

The Adeleke camp is accused of backing out of the deal after the loss of the gubernatorial election to Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
