“Consumers Responsible For Bad Songs From Musicians” Sound Sultan

Musician Olanrewaju Fasasi more popularly known by the stage name Sound Sultan has put the blame for the “lyrically empty” songs being churned out by musicians all over town.

Sultan made the assertion when he called in as a guest on music review segment of a early morning news programme on TVC today.

The other guest on the programme Entertainment Journalist and publisher of E 24/7, Biodun Kupoluyi was in the studio.

Kupoluyi took a position contrary to Sultan’s.

Sultan claim the demand for the lyrically empty songs on different platforms by consumers encourage the producers and others to keep churning out more.

Kupoluyi disagreed stating the musicians responsible for what they churn out and advice they engage in self censorship in order to have a legacy by putting out timeless songs.
