Comrade Shola Omoshola Joins Clamour For Immortalisa-tion of MKO

Popular security expert and USA based Nigerian socialite, comrade Shola Omoshola has condemned the character assassination of Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking from his base in the US, the astute gentleman Chairman, Lagos People’s Vanguard said the leadership of the Action Congress of Nigeria has put in place significant legacies worthy of emulation; a legacy that other states have come to adopt as part of their system and style of governance.

A product of Mushin Local Government, he recently declared his interest to bring back the glory days of Mushin, a suburb of Lagos as he joins the race to become the next Chairman of the LG contesting under ACN. Comrade Shola Omoshola said the stereotype that the area has been labelled in the past years can be turned around with good leadership and cooperation from the residents

“We understand the need of the Mushin people, and we have all it takes to give it to them. We understand the political terrain and therefore we are ready to make things work in Mushin and its environs” Omoshola said.

He equally condemned the Federal Government for failing to recognize and institutionalize the symbol of June 12 1993, the winner of the controversial Presidential election, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale (MKO) ABIOLA by immortalizing his name in any form of recognition.

A guru in the security industry in New York, it appears Omoshola will bring his experience to bear to combat the security problem that has plagued the area in a long time.
