BUA Group has announced a new partnership with India’s Shrijee Group to carry out additional works at the LASUCO Sugar Mill and Refinery in Kwara State.
The agreement, signed at the BUA Group’s Middle East office in Dubai, formalizes the collaboration between the Nigerian conglomerate and Shrijee Process Engineering Works.
Abdul Samad Rabiu, Founder and Executive Chairman of BUA Group, and Sachin Agarwal, CEO of Shrijee Process Engineering Works, were present at the signing ceremony to witness the agreement.
The expansion at LASUCO spotlights BUA Group’s continued investment in Nigeria’s agro-processing sector and its commitment to boosting local production and refining capacities.
The partnership is expected to enhance the efficiency and output of the Kwara-based sugar mill, further strengthening BUA Group’s position in Nigeria’s sugar and broader agro-industrial markets.
The project reflects the group’s strategy of leveraging international expertise to support domestic industrial growth.
