BON Awards 2014: ‘We Chose Rivers State Because It Has Created An enabling Environment For Tourism & Nollywood’ -Organisers

The organisers of popular awards BON have chosen Rivers state as the place to be for this year edition of the must attend.

‘River State has been given the hosting rights of the 2014 Best of Nollywood Awards slated for the peaceful city of Port Harcourt on Oct 4th 2014.

According to the executive producer of the award Mr Seun Oloketuyi, We have chosen Port Harcourt because of a lot of reasons;
Port Harcourt is one of the most beautiful cities in Africa, the State has produced some of the best brains in Nollywood and Gov Amaechi has also created an enabling environment for tourism and Nollywood.

According to River State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, it is a great honor to have this prestigious award in Portharcourt a year after hosting the nominees dinner.

Bon Award sixth year would hold on Saturday October 4th 2014 and it is expected to be the most
glamorous Nollywood Event of the year.

Best of Nollywood Award since inception six years ago, has risen to become the most prestigious and transparent award ceremony for Nollywood practitioners.’
