It is gory tales that are coming out of the heart-beat of the #EndSars protests in Lagos State.

Multiple eyewitnesses confirmed that uniformed men reportedly shot at the protesters at the Lekki toll gate that informally served as the main protest ground in Lagos State.

Multiple deaths were recorded and several people sustained injuries.

The protesters demanding a better Nigeria defied a 24hours curfew imposed in Lagos state by the government in the face of a violent twist Introduced to the protests in different parts of the state in the last 48hours.

Societynow.ng gathered that before the protesters were shot at, the street lights went off.

The attack against #Endsars protesters was reportedly carried out in “pitch darkness” but victims who spoke on trending videos and a live broadcast on the aftermath of the development monitored by societynow.ng on television station Channels insist they spotted their attackers who were “uniformed men.”

Uniformed men is a term used for law enforcement officers either the police or military – particularly the military.

There are allegations that the move was premeditated with the security camera at the place allegedly removed before the attack – an image thrown up to back the claims.

Footages and still images of the attack on the #Endsars protesters in Lekki tell stories of blood, sorrow, and tears.

The development has attracted massive condemnation with the state government issuing a speedy denial of involvement in the tragic end to what is widely branded a noble cause.
