Billionaire Akin Ogunbiyi Puts Senator Demola Adeleke’s Guber Ambition At Risk

A strong contender has emerged in the race to determine the next Governor of Osun state.

And his emergence in no small measure dims the chances of Senator Demola Adeleke.

“Demola’s chances is fast evaporating” a source say about the latest development.

The latest entrant causing big ripple in the political circle of Osun state is Billionaire Akin Ogunbiyi.

Ogunbiyi is the group chairman Mutual Benefits Assurance.

He heads a company that has survived many industry’s turbulence to stay strong in 27years of operation.

According to a source “this is bad news for Demola and his backers because Ogunbiyi brings on board all that Deji Adeleke promised that forced the PDP leaders to informally accept Demola as candidate” a source explained.

Ogunbiyi, a People’s Democratic Party chieftain has the immeasurable advantage of a “sparkling and serious image” ahead of Demola who wasted tremendous goodwill and sympathy on the throne of careless and mindless dancing in public spaces.

Sources disclosed Ogunbiyi’s emergence is creating excitement of a much awaited “saviour” within the Osun PDP.

“He represents what the PDP saw in Deji that made them approach him to become party candidate before he gave them Demola in exchange for support.

“Ogunbiyi’s emergence is being seen as a perfect bailout from the unfavorable deal with the Adelekes” an insider explained.

From Ile Ogbo in Osun West Senatorial District sources disclosed the Mutual Benefits Assurance boss has assured growing supporters of seriousness of purpose in ambition to become the next governor of Osun state.
