Big Trouble For Gov Akeredolu As Re-Election Ticket ”Slips” Out Of His Hands

Details available to societynow.ng revealed the re-election ticket of the governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu is virtually out of his hands.

”It will take only fate for Akeredolu to get the ticket of the APC (ruling party, All Progressives Congress)in the fight to secure a second term as the governor of Ondo state” societynow.ng leaned.

Insiders disclosed that power brokers in the state insist that the gubernatorial ticket should be given to anybody but Akeredolu.
”And they are threatening to give Akeredolu the treatment he gave partymen he was at odds with in the last general election” societynow.ng gathered.

The information available to societynow.ng revealed the Akeredolu is accused of working against party men that got elective tickets agains his will in the last general election.

”These individuals, their supporters and loyalists and those aggrieved with the style adopted by Akeredolu in which is wife is seen as the power behind the throne have combined forces and are now all out to ensure the governor does get a second term in office either by working against him within the party or at the polls” societynow.ng learned.

Sources disclosed that the aggrieved party men – and women – demand that the national leaders should not give Akeredolu the APC gubernatorial ticket Ondo state or they would work against him at the polls and APC would lose the election.

Insiders disclosed that although the embattled governor – and his backers – are trying to find a way out of the situation, the angry party members remain resolute in their demand against the governor.
