‘’ Though they will claim that these people are technocrats but I want to tell you that we have surplus and sound professionals who are party members who also worked tirelessly during the campaign for the success of the party in Lagos State. Yes, most of the Nominees are giants in academia and should be the pride of any party but the issues here are more than Academic qualifications. The main issue for consideration is compensation and recognition for work done and which those that compiled the list have deliberately thrown to the dogs…’’ a source stated in a report monitored in Lagos Reporters.

Further revelation has it that the nomination of Tunbosun, son of a former commissioner for information in the state, Dele Alake is also attracting huge flak for Sanwo-Olu from the party leaders.

Added information has it that, though, the aggrieved party leaders know that the cabinet list was handed to the Governor by more powerful figures behind the scene –the knowledge has done little or nothing to stem their anger.

‘’The reality is that fighting Sanwo-Olu is seen as fighting the powers behind the scene because the governor represents what all the stakeholders want to get their heart desires’’ a source pointed out.

Interestingly, insiders disclosed just like it happened in the early days of immediate past Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, the non-indigene sentiments are being wiped up against Sanwo-Olu as the underground fight goes from bad to worse.

‘’The talk is that Sanwo-Olu is from Ogun State in the bid to pitch the fiery Lagos is not a no man’s land campaign that Ambode (who is said to be from Ondo state) never recovered from against the new governor’’ societynow.ng gathered.

Insiders disclosed while virtually conceding that they might have lost out in the first round of the fight with the submission of the initial cabinet list to the State House of Assembly, the aggrieved party leaders waging the raging battle to ensure their interests are protected in the second batch in the midst of threats referencing the inglorious defeat that befell the Saraki political family in the last general election.
