Mr. Michael Omeri Agbo Omeri, the Coordinator of the campaign organisation that heralded President Goodluck Jonathan into office, Neighbour 2 Neighbour is now the Director General Of National Orientation Agency.

Initiator of Neighbour 2 Neighbour is the current Minister for Aviation, Stella Odua.

It is believed that she is instrumental to the emergence of Omeri as the D.G of N.O.A.

According to an insider ‘Omeri replaces Vice President, Namadi Sambo’s candidate, Alhaji Idi M. Faruk, as a result of the influence Odua has with President Jonathan’

Sources claim the aggressive advertising, marketing and propaganda approach he brought to bear on President Jonathan’s Stella Odua

campaign during election and his closeness to the aviation minister, major reasons he clinched the N.O.A job.

Insiders claim the move is a ploy to place Neighbour 2 Neighbour on government funding.

According to an informant ‘he intends to work closely with Neighbour 2 Neighbour personnel, work with the organisation’s structure at his new post’

This is interpreted to mean a back door budget will now be made available for Neighbour 2 Neighbour’s operations in the guise of working towards N.O.A objectives.

Insiders revealed this development puts the ‘supposedly’ non governmental organisation in the category of those with ‘huge funding and government patronage’

Neighbour 2 Neighbour is currently executing a massive pro subsidy nation wide campaign and propaganda to discredit the stance and character of those against it- at the instance of Minister Odua- with the approval of the presidency.
