Pangs of loss are rocketing in the home of boss of professional agency, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria- APCON- Alhaji Garuba Kankarofi.

Sources disclosed that dare devil armed robbers stormed his Lagos home a couple of days back- and left the Apcon boss and his family with tales of multimillion naira loss and emotional trauma to regale friends and sympathizers.

The bandits, of yet to be ascertained numbers- reportedly stormed the Kankarofis home in Oyingbo, Lagos on a Saturday night.

Informants maintained that after seemingly hours of operation the plunderer of wealth made away with a two exotic cars- A Lexus and Range Rover Jeeps- and ‘other valuables’ that were piled into the cars.

Though sources confirmed that intimidation tactics were employed by the men of the under world on the Kankarofis to achieve their aim, it is yet to be ascertained whether any member of the family suffered any serious harm.

This based on findings that the former Managing Director of the broadcasting Corporation Kano immediately moved to Lebanon along with his distressed family after the incident.

The movement reportedly took place three days after the incident.

Confirmation of their return is yet to be confirmed at press time.

Alhaji Garuba Kankarofi is the Chief Executive Officer/Chief Registrar of APCON.
