Aregbesola, Children Of Late Financial Backer At War Over “Hidden Businesses”

News filtering in has it that the numbers of those the Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola is at odds with have increased.

The numbers now include children of his late financial backer chief Lomi Abiola.

The Ijesha chief widely identified as one of the stronger backers of Aregbesola died on Sunday, July 16, 2017.

He reportedly died as a result of “enlarged heart” while planning to travel abroad for medical care.

Insiders disclosed after his death, the Osun state headman reached out to the children of “huge funds” kept in the late socialite’s care while he was alive.

The children were said to have rebuffed the move claiming ignorance of a “transaction that translated into such a bewildering amount mentioned”.

“They claimed their father was a wealthy man with the capacity to own whatever funds in his possession” a source stated.

The children are said to blatantly refuse to release any “money” in their father’s accounts.

Some claimed the “hidden” funds is part of those meant to execute the upcoming gubernatorial election in Osun state.

The late Abiola, a very close confidante of Aregbesola reportedly kept custody of the “fund” as a front is the narrative woven together by those close to Aregbesola.

But children of the deceased are claiming an attempt to rip them off their “inheritance”.

Insiders disclosed the matter is still being kept “hushed” to avoid the “implication of a blowout” for all concerned.
