“APC Leaders Are Wary Of Associating With Me” Senator Tejuosho Cries Out

Senator Lanre Tejuosho provided deep insight into his ordeal in the All Progressives Congress in this public disclosure

Let me start by clearing the air and stating for the record that I have no grievance whatsoever against President Muhammadu Buhari. I know him personally enough to say that he means well for Nigeria. I was fully involved with him in our CPC days when we went round Nigeria together in search of votes. All politics is local, as such I must always remind myself that President Muhammadu Buhari is not from Ogun State.

My disappointment is with the party at the state level where I, for reasons I am yet to ascertain, have been marginalized from party activities. My relationship with the state party leadership became severed all of a sudden as leaders became wary of associating with me. There is no form of communication between party leaders and myself.

My relationship with Mr. Governor is intact but for the future of Ogun State, we must ensure we develop a truly democratic party that our children would be proud to associate.Lanre Tejuosho

As Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, I am expected to hold meetings with the Local Government Chairmen in my constituency to discuss strategies and ways to attract development and improve the lives of our people. Few months ago, I invited them for such meetings and after the meeting, to my surprise, they were scolded by the party leadership and severely cautioned not to associate with me anymore. They reliably informed me that they had been threatened with suspension and must not be seen interacting with me in public.

I must now realign with a party that shares in my belief that genuinely working together as a team is the best form of leadership. I must realign with like minds that I can at least, have developmental conversations with. Let me see them, and let them see me.

God bless us all.

The Ogun Central Senator made the assertions via a post on facebook page.
