“I mourn with the People of Anambra State and the Senator representing my Senatorial District of Anambra South, Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah over the horrific attack on his convoy on the evening of Sunday 11 Sept 2022 at Enugwu Ukwu, Anambra State.

Many lives were lost in this satanic ambush.…dedicated staff, aides and security personnel, who merely set out for the day, just another ordinary day, but never made it home, their lives brutally cut short by heartless gunmen.

Their families are bleeding, Anambra state, Alaigbo is bleeding…we are all bleeding…for this rain of bullets is falling on our collective roofs, and with each gruesome attack, another abominable threshold is crossed.

My Condolences go to the families of all who lost their lives in this terrible incident, to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, the people of Anambra South Senatorial Zone as well as the Government and the peace loving People of Anambra State.

May the souls of the faithful departed Rest In Peace, and May God, please, bring healing, peace and order to our state, Amen”
