Emerging details have it that former Governors of Ogun State, Gbenga Danie and Ibikunle Amosun are inching closer to working together to determine the next Governor of Ogun State.

This development is in the face of a declaration of interest to contest for a second term in office by Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Abiodun, Daniel, and Amosun are leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.

Daniel worked with other stakeholders to help Abiodun become Governor in 2019 as part of a ferocious push that halted Amosun’s passionate attempt to install a successor on the platform of another political party, Allied People’s Movement (APM) – after his choice, Adekune Akinlade failed to secure APC gubernatorial ticket.

Political events largely orchestrated by the moves of Governor Abiodun after he assumed office now see a strong possibility of Amosun and Daniel working together to stop his re-election SocietyNow.Ng gathered.
