Ambode Continues To Suffer Huge Backlash Over Unfashionable Awolowo Statue

It a couple of days after the unveiling but the backlash remains unabated.

Governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode continues to take huge hits for the new statue meant to further immortalize the late sage Obafemi Awolowo.

The relentless mud shots against the governor at the center of excellence stem from assertion, the new “statue” is ”appallingly ill-fitting” on the extraordinary image of the late leader.

Since the observation of the fashion faux paus of a laced shoe on the agbada the statue of the late sage was decorated with came to fore, different opinions on what is wrong with structure – situated by LTV Complex Agindigbi – has remained unabated.

And the bulk of the opinions make “non-sense” of the latest attempt at celebrating the national leader.

Many even stretch it as far as to use the “unfaltering” development to shade Ambode’s performance in dark colors.

And the comments which have become a storm on and offline refuse to die down.
