All The Other Offices Burgled By Thieves Who Stormed Gov Amosun’s Office

There are fresh details in the burglary incident that rocked the office of the Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun last week.

The Office of the state Chief Executive Officer was burgled Thursday overnight Friday.

Emerging details just confirmed initial indications that the unknown thieves accessed other offices apart from that of the Governor.

Information available confirmed the offices of the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of staff were broken into as well.

The Chief of Staff is one of the gubernatorial aspirants jostling to become the next governor of Ogun state.

Insiders, however, revealed that just like the Governor, the Chief of staff and his deputy are keeping sealed lips on what was “taken away” by the burglars.

There is a raging speculation that the thieves broke into the affected offices in search of “documents”.

But there is no confirmation regarding this growing speculation.

The development which has seen the two policemen on duty on the night of the incident arrested is being discussed in hush tones in official quarters.

The governor is said to be keen to contain the incident for yet to be ascertained reasons.

The two policemen on duty in the development which saw the thieves illegally accessed the governor’s office through the roof of the third floor of Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun state seat of power are said to have been arrested and detained.
