Emerging details have it that the plot by former Governor Rauf Aregbesola to make his son, Kabiru the Chief of Staff to his successor, Gboyega Oyetola has hit a major brick wall.

Political godfather, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is said to have rebuffed the move.

Tinubu is said to be pushing for his spokesperson Alhaji Tunde Rahman to occupy the position.

Insiders disclosed the move to make Rahman the Chief of Staff to the new governor of Osun state is almost sealed.

Though Aregbesola is still regarded as subtly engaging a never say never antic in trying to get the position for his son, Kabiru.

The office of the Chief of Staff is seen as a big deal in the All Progressives Congress administration collage of influence in charge of the government of Osun state.
