All Eyes On Cabinet List As Dapo Abiodun Caps Claimed Rift With Senator Adeola “Yayi”
Abiodun’s fist term cabinet was populated with loyalists of Senator Yayi
Governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun has downplayed talks of a political rift with his strongest ally, Senator Solomon Adeola.
Adeola is the Senator representing Ogun West famously known as Yayi.
The Governor downplayed talks of a falling out with his birthday message to the Senator.
Senator Yayi was 53 on Thursday, August 10, 2023 and Abiodun in wishing “Yayi’ a ” a wonderful celebration” openly wrote on his verified social media page ” I pray the years ahead are filled with greatness, and all the incredible things your heart can hold.”.
The Governor is known to shun those he is at odds with on their birthdays – like Senator Gbenga Daniel.

The Governor’s move comes in the face of increasing talks that things are falling apart between the two allies over happenings surrounding the list of Ministers from Ogun State.
The Governor reportedly lost out in all the three slots while Senator Yayi got his loyalist (Ishaq Salako) onboard, Senator Gbenga Daniel influenced another (Bosun Tijani) with President Bola Tinubu nominating (Wale Edun)the biggest name on the list.
Bosun Tijani is from Governor Abiodun’s political base. And Senator Daniel, a two-term former Governor of Ogun state, is the representative of the area in the Senate.
SocietyNow gathered that with Governor Abiodun’s latest move all eyes turn to the anticipated list of his new cabinet.

This is in the face of claims that the larger percentage of those with links to Yayi who always fight for Abiodun are backing the Senator against the Governor over the ministerial list happenings.
