Alaafin Reveals Why National Conference Of Traditional Rulers Is Shifted To January

The national conference of yoruba traditional rulers has been shifted to January, 2020.

The three day event – scheduled to host over 200 kings – was pencilled to kick off tomorrow – Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

But a recent communication from the palace of the chief Host, Alaafin Lamidi Adeyemi has revealed a change in plan and why.

The statement reads.

“On behalf of His Imperial Majesty,  Iku  Baba  Yeye, Oba  (Dr.)  Lamidi  Olayiwola Adeyemi 111, the Alaafin of Oyo,  the management of HRM Heritage Forum and Organisers of the progranne hereby announce the  postponement of National Conference  and Convention of Traditional Rulers in Yorubaland.  

This is to ensure better arrangements and preparations that will pave the way for a hitchfree all inclusive participation of Paramount rulers,  Government agencies and the Private sector in the South western part of the country. 

“New date  for the two day event is 7th to 9th January 2020, while the venue  is Oyo town in Oyo State.

The HRM Heritage Forum Management  implores all *delegates, partners, sponsors, guests and participants* to contact the organising committee on or before *15/12/2019* with their details,  for information about welcome arrangement.
Similarly,  all partnerships, donations and sponsorships are expected to be concluded on or before 15/12/2019 with the organising com, ittee.

The Organisers regretted whatever inconveniences that might have causedorganizingnts.

 “The  forthcoming 2nd National Convention and Conference of Southwest traditional rulers which The forthcoming His Imperial Majesty, the Alaafin of Oyo in collaboration with HRM HERITAGE FORUM will be another historical moment in Africa.

Thank you as we look forward to seeing you all.”
