Andrew Amiengheme, the Akwa Ibom Commissioner of Police has reacted to reports that Uduak Akpan, the murderer of job seeker Iniubong Umoren is dead.
Reports about town claim that the perpetrator of a murder that has left the nation reeling with shock and gripped with untold agitation committed suicide in police custody.
But Commissioner of Police Amiengheme has refuted the claim.
The police boss told in a report monitored by societynow.ng on ailypost.ng asserted “”It is not true that Uduak Akpan has committed suicide. The suspect is in our custody. Maybe he committed suicide in the bedrooms of those peddling the rumour, or maybe he committed suicide on social media. This is not true please!”
