Again, Shadow Election To Choose APC Candidate For Isiaka Adeleke’s Vacant Seat Shifted As Gov Rauf Aregbesola Battles Hard To Have His Way

Emerging details have it that, the shadow election to determin the All Progressives Congress candidate for the upcoming Osun West Senatorial bye eletion has been postponed again.

The position was formerly held by deceased Senator Isiaka Adeleke – a member of the APC.

But the party is currently finding the process to determine candidate for the upcoming electionto fill the vacuum very hard.

Governor of Osun state Rauf Aregbesola is battling powers that be at the national level of his party over who to choose.

The state head man has annointed past holder of the same seat and current commissioner in his government – Mudashir Hussein to become party flagbearer.

But Demola, the younger brother of the deceased Senator has ammassed unexpected influence within the party -but outside of the state- in efforts to inherit the position.

And he is currently giving Aregbesola and his candiate a run for their might cruising on the weight of his ‘’mysterious support’’.

The intrigue that has taken hold of the process has seen governor Argebesola’s canddiate disqaulified and later cleared to contest.

Sources claim governor Aregbesola now views the whole process as a test of his political might in the state.

‘’and he is prosecuting the battle to make the man of his choice party candidate as such’’ a source stated.

On the otherhand the forces against him – made of top level party chieftains and government appointees, including two ministers – are also said not to be relenting in making Demola Adeleke party candidate, on the pretext of wanting to avoid arming opposition in the state by pushing the formidable Adeleke political structure to their side.
