Emerging details have it after losing out in fierce battle to become the Governor of Kogi state – House of Representatives member Abiodun Faleke is up in arms with leaders of his political party – All Progressives Congress – in the state.

This time, the cause of the disaffection is rooted in allegations of plot to make him a replacement for deceased minister, James Ocholi.

Ocholi, minister of state – Labour from Kogi state died in a ghastly motor accident in March 2016.

Allegation is rife in Kogi state that Faleke, riding on the influence of mentor and powerful politician, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is on the brink of becoming the replacement for Ocholi.

The move believed to be hinged on compensating the House of Representatives Member for losing out in strident moves to become Kogi Governor is currently creating a huge rumpus in the state.

According to information monitored on news platform Punch, APC leaders in the state, especially Kogi West have gone as far as written to President Muhammed Buhari to oppose Faleke’s nomination as well as threatened employ all legal and political means to stop his political advancement in the state.
