Societynow.ng confirms Adekunle Akinlade has been knocked off yet again for Dapo Abiodun to be affirmed as gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun state.

Societynow.ng learned Governor Ibikunle Amosun is mounting great pressure on the party for Dapo

Abiodun to be removed as APC’s gubernatorial candidate.

Amosun wants Akinlade to replace Abiodun as the winner of the controversial gubernatorial primary election held in Ogun state.

Insiders disclosed Amosun’s effort almost paid off based on intervention from President Muhammadu Buhari.

Sources, however. disclosed to societynow.ng that the forces against Amosun – with party chairman Adams Oshiomole in their rank – triumph again as they resisted the effort to knock off Abiodun for Akinlade.

Akinlade who reportedly posted a social media message announcing his victory reportedly deleted the ‘’ celebration” as the national body of the APC insists Abiodun remains the gubernatorial candidate in Ogun state.
