After 41 Days In Captivity, Kidnappers Of 6 Lagos Model School Students Get In Touch With Parents

After 41 days in captivity, the kidnappers of six students of Lagos Model College Igbonla have contacted parents of their victims.

The abductors established contact after going quiet on receiving ten million naira out of a one hundred million naira ransom reduced to fifty million.

The parents scrapped the fund together in effort to effect faster release of their children than on going police investigation.

The kidnappers had cut off contact on demanding for additional forty million naira to be paid after getting the ten million naira.

But according to information sourced from Punch the abductors finally resumed contact with the parents yesterday – Wednesday and promised to release the victims.

The abducted children were reportedly allowed to speak with their parents.

The six students taken away by armed gun men who broke into the hostel of the model college on Thursday May 25 are given as Peter Jonah, Isiaq Rahmon, Adebayo George, Judah Agbausi, Pelumi Phillips and Farouq Yusuf.
