Adeleke Defeats Oyetola By 403,371 To 375,027 Votes To Become Osun Gov

“I declare that Adeleke Jackson Nurudeen Ademola of the PDP, having satisfied the requirements of the law, is hereby declared the winner and he is returned elected,” with that declaration, Toyin Ogundipe the returning officer announced the winner of the July 16, gubernatorial election in Osun state.

Adeleke polled 403,371 votes against re-electing seeking Governor Gboyega Oyetola who got 375,027 votes.

Adeleke won in 17 local government areas while Oyetola secured victory in 13 council areas.

Ogundipe declared Adeleke the winner in the morning of Sunday, July 17, 2022.
