Founder and Executive Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, met with Zhang Sicai, Chairman of CBMI (SINOMA) of China, in London earlier today to explore new areas of collaboration between the two companies.
The meeting, held at BUA Group’s corporate office in the United Kingdom, centered on strengthening existing business ties and identifying fresh opportunities for joint ventures.
BUA and CBMI (a subsidiary of the China National Building Materials Group Corporation, SINOMA) have enjoyed a long-standing partnership in the cement and construction materials sector, with CBMI playing a key role in delivering several of BUA’s cement production projects across Nigeria.
According to sources familiar with the talks, the London meeting underscored the commitment of both companies to expand cooperation in ways that support industrial growth, enhance production capacity, and unlock opportunities across Africa’s building materials market.
The partnership reflects BUA Group’s broader strategy of leveraging international expertise and technology to drive its growth agenda, while also contributing to Nigeria’s infrastructure and industrial development.
