Abdul Samad Rabiu To Chair Arewa Consultative Forum’s 25th Anniversary Fund Raising Event

Abdul Samad Rabiu, the Founder and Executive Chairman of BUA Group, CFR, CON, has accepted the invitation to chair the Arewa Consultative Forum’s (ACF) 25th anniversary fund raising event, following a courtesy visit from top officials of the Forum to the BUA Group Headquarters in Lagos today, Monday, April 17, 2025.

The delegation was led by Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu, Wazirin Dutse and Chairman of the Forum’s Board of Trustees, and included several high-ranking members of the ACF, such as Sen. Ibrahim M. Ida, PhD (Wazirin Katsina), Mohammed Mahmud, Amb. Ibrahim Mai-Sule (Turakin Bade and Vice Chairman of the BOT), Mamman Mike Osuman (SAN, OFR), Malam Murtala Aliyu, Mutawallen Gombe (Secretary General), Alhaji Ibrahim S. Bamalli (Treasurer), Hon. (Arc) Ibrahim Bunu, former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mahmud Yayale Ahmed (CFR), Amb. Baba Ahmed Jidda, Bukar Zarma, Nasir Isa Abubakar, and Nasir H. Danu (Sardaunan Dutse).

During the visit, the delegation formally extended the invitation to Rabiu to lead the milestone event, a request he described as “a true honour.” The courtesy meeting also provided a platform for discussions on issues of mutual interest, with emphasis on leveraging strategic partnerships between the private sector and Northern leadership to promote national development and economic growth.

The engagement reflects a long-standing tradition of collaboration between prominent business figures and political stakeholders from Northern Nigeria, highlighting efforts to combine private-sector expertise with regional and national development initiatives.
