…Why the agency may arrest the Director of Finance, Federal Ministry of Works

There are strong indications that operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission may arrest the director of finance Federal Ministry of Works, Alhaji Ibrahim Tumsa soon.

Also targeted for same treatment is his brother, Tijani Tumsa.

The Finance Director is at the centre of investigation into allegations of corruption and self enrichment to the tunes of billions of naira.

His brother is identified to be his front in most of the deals he used to amass wealth.

The case against Tumsa was initially brought to the notice of the E.F.C.C under the watch of sacked chairman, Farida Waziri. EFCC Chairman Investigation was said to be on when she was relieved off her job function and replaced.

Sources confirmed that the agency under Ibrahim Lamorde (the new head man) focused it’s investigation on these areas- and pruned down valuation.

That;

1, Alhaji Tumsa owns a quarry at Kuje, FCT valued at N500m

2, Alhaji Tumsa owns a farm along Damaturu to Gujba road valued at N400m

3, Alhaji Tumsa owns an expansive property at Dagel \ Gobarau Rd, Kaduna

4, Alhaji Tumsa owns a factory that manufactures crates for egg packaging at Kakuri Kaduna

5, Alhaji Tumsa owns a factory that manufactures sacks and bags at Jabi, Abuja.

Insiders confirmed the Finance Director’s brother, Tijani Tumsa is still listed as a front in the investments under investigation.

Further digs by societynowng.com revealed that all things being equal- the top civil servant and his brother should be brought in for questioning by operatives of the agency in a matter of days.
