Thugs Attack House Of Rep Member, Biodun Akinlade Over N2m ‘Area Boys Fee’!

Federal House of Representative member, Abiodun Akinlade was the subject of a violent clash recently.

Insiders revealed the lawmaker eyeing the governorship position of Ogun state in the next general election was attacked by thugs otherwise known as ‘area boys’.

The development came to be in Akinlade’s domain- Yewa Local Government area a couple of days back.

The occurrence was a result of altercation over a N2m demand by the characters clothed in the civil garb of ‘youths of the area’

According to a witness ‘Hon Akinlade came to commission a constituency project..he didn’t come with any special police escort because he was in his base, he came with only his supporters….the youths accosted his convoy and demanded he give them N2m’

Sources claim the guber hopeful refused to part with ‘such an amount’.

The resulting altercation reportedly led to the attack.

‘His personal assistant was dealt a slap and the convoy pelted with stones and what have you’ an informant narrated.

information revealed the federal lawmaker was spirited out of the scene by ‘the killer instinct of his driver’

Sources confirmed the driver drove off in manner that brushed off assailant and showed whoever stayed in his path would be crushed.

No death was reportedly recorded in the skirmish that left injuries in both camps.

A blanket was reportedly put on the happenstance to prevent tales of lose of popularity by Akinlade in his domain.
