Ex Rep Member, Oluwole Oke Begins Campaign For Osun Guber Ambition With N5B Budget

Former Federal House of Representatives Member, Oluwole Oke not long ago signified his interest to wrestle power from the incumbent governor of Osun state, Rauf Aregbesola.

And he has started backing his words with action- with the result already manifesting.

To achieve his aim, he needs to become the flag bearer of his party, the People’s Democratic Party. And has other aspirants such as Otunba Iyiola Omisore, Akinlade Olasunkanmi, and Fatai Akinbade to contend with.

Information made available to societynowng.com however revealed- he appears to be on the way to achieving his immediate goal- the support of his party.

Sources confirmed he has struck a political pact that has drawn immediate past governor of the state Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola to his side.

With the support of the sacked national secretary of the PDP comes the endorsement of president Obasanjo at the national level- and also former deputy governor of the state and now minister, Erelu Olusola Obada.

Insiders revealed Oke is currently surfing on the wave of the support of these big wigs, to drum up more.

Further digs by societynowng.com revealed the guber aspirant has also budgeted a N5b fund to execute the campaign.

He is said to have chosen the man that oversaw Oyinlola’s successful ascension to office as his Campaign Director. And the man identified as Barrister Efuntayo is said to have started intensive work.

Disclosed another source ‘ based on the feel of what they done so far, they appear to have increased their support base, particularly amongst those that oppose the ambition of Otunba Omisore’

Oke widely known as a generous giver in Osun state- is now adorned with another appellation – a major factor in Osun guber race.
