Ebola Scare: New Generation Bank Cashiers Attend To Customers Wearing Gloves

On friday August 15 2014, cashiers operating at one of the branches a popular new generation bank attended to customers wearing gloves.

The move is believed to be brought about by fears of contacting dreaded disease, Ebola.

There are lots of misinformation on the manner of spreading the deadly virus consensus of opinion identify body fluid as a source.

It is not sure whether cashiers acted in accordance with management directive.

But a customer at the branch located in Alagbado, area of Lagos state confirmed

‘I saw three of them wearing gloves…the one that attended to me and two others. They wore transparent rubber gloves, like the one favoured by health workers’ Mr Gani Giwa disclosed.

Giwa claimed to be a regular patron of that particular bank outlet and insist not to have witnessed such development before now.

The bank branch is located by a popular bus stop, with an ‘E’ in it’s corporate identity and Managing Director that assumed his position thanks to CBN stipulation that forced his predecessor out of office not too long ago.

It is not clear whether resumption of work on Monday will see a continuation of the trend and more branches or banks adopting the style.
