Family and ‘faithfuls’ of former military ruler, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangide are engaged in a fresh offensive on his behalf.

They are employing all available means to douse stories of ‘critically ill’ enveloping his person.

Information making the rounds claim, the individual robustly known as IBB is currently battling ill health at a foreign health care centre.

Germany is being bandied as the country currently hosting the military ruler, whose condition is described as ‘critical’.

He was reportedly ferried abroad as couple of days back- when his situation defied regular medication according to growing stories around town.

Specialists are said to be attempting to nurse him back to good health- or atleast some thing near.

However family sources however claim the state of the health of the man who infamously annulled what was adjudged the ‘fairest’ election the country ( June 12 Presidential) is ‘not critically’.

They asserted ‘ he merely went for regular medical check up’.

And he is expected back soon.

Sources behind is illness gist however differ, insisting ‘his condition is grave’.

The informants further allege, the situation is such that ‘specialists are hard at work to revamp his health’.

Maintain a source ‘the family members position is understandable, they want to protect his political and economic interest…hopefully their prayers will come to pass, the doctors efforts will prove successful and after proper recuperation he will return and tell us, he was on holiday at the hospital’.

Both family members and gospellers of the story about IBB agree…he is abroad undergoing treatment at a foreign clinic. But both parties express different opinions on the degree of the affliction that warranted the trip.
