Fresh Violence In Ekiti… Fatima Raji Rasaki Fingered In Shooting At Opponents Convoy Heading For Osinbajo’s Town Hall Meeting

There is a renewed violence in Ekiti state.

And fingered in this latest twist is Fatima, wife of former military administrator of lagos state, Raji Rasak.

Information filtering in indicate, the convoy of a All Progressives Congress senatorial Candidate in Ekiti state, Gbenga Olofin was shot at.

The development reportedly transpired along Ilawe – Ado Road by Omisanjana Junction, in Ado Ekiti.

The APC candidate and his team were reportedly on their way to the venue of the town hall meeting staged by Vice Presidential Candidate of APC, Yemi Osinbajo when the development happened.

Sources alleged the occurrence left Olofin with gun shot wound and the car of a state house of assemble member seeking re election, Olubunmi Oriniowo a total wreck.

Supporters and passers by reportedly sustained injury in panic response to flee the scene.

And accusing fingers are being pointed at Fatimah Raji Rasaki‎, the People’s Democratic Party’s senatorial candidate in Ekiti Central.

Informants alleged ‘thugs’ riding the campaign bus of the former military administrator’s wife shot at that of his opponents.

The move interpreted as attempt to cower the opposition by showing superior strength in unleashing violence caused stampede and tense atmosphere that currently linger.
