Adeleke Offers Oyetola “Beautiful Gift Of A Dove Of Peace And Unity” On 72nd Birthday

Governor Ademola Adeleke has felicitated with former governor and Minister of Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola as he celebrates his 72 birthday anniversary, recognising and praising his life journey and blessings of God in his private and public life.

In a statement released today at Osogbo, the Governor who arrived in the country last night after a short vacation in the United Kingdom said birthdays are an occasion for reviewing the past and the present for a new future, commending the former governor for his contributions to state and national development.

While asserting that politics should unite rather than divide us, the governor noted the new air of rapprochement after the tense August governorship election, submitting that the Minister’s birthday presents an opportunity for Osun leaders to unite for the growth and development of our dear state.

“In line with the admonition of our dear president, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Osun leaders are encouraged to build bridges of partnership, collaboration and brotherhood using the birthday of our brother, the former governor, as a pathway to peace, unity and progress for our dear state.

“My beautiful gift for the minister on his birthday is a dove of peace and unity. I felicitate with the leader of APC in Osun state. I rejoice with a minister who is turning around the national blue economy sector. Our state needs him and other leaders to continue to accelerate delivery of democratic dividends and widen the net of good governance.

“In the spirit of oneness and common cause, I join the family and associates of Mr Oyetola to wish him a prosperous and bountiful birthday and more blissful years ahead.
