Diri Sets Up State And Local Government Advisory Committees In Bayelsa
urged party stakeholders and members to make sacrifices
Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri joined by his Deputy, Dr. Peter Akpe today attended the Bayelsa State All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders meeting at the new party Secretariat, Amarata, Yenagoa.
Governor Diri said the meeting was aimed at brainstorming with stakeholders over the concluded congresses and primaries in the state.
The governor urged party stakeholders and members to make sacrifices for the unity and progress of the party.
“I would like to appeal to us, nobody should be in pain over the concluded party congresses and primaries. At all times people make sacrifices so that we can move together for the progress of our party and state.
The party’s unity is our topmost priority. Today, we have a Bayelsa State APC that is free from litigations. We have all our leaders, stakeholders and government officials working together.
I appreciate all our leaders and caucus stakeholders for conducting a just and fair party congresses and primaries. Let’s continue to build our party with intellectual ideas, consensus and peace”, Gov. Diri stated.
