Three years after Yemi Edun appointment as the first female Managing Director at First City Monument Bank (FCMB) blanket out the amoral missteps of her predecessor, Adam Nuhu she has appears virtually out of public glare.

SocietyNow.Ng’s checks revealed that she has come nowhere near the exposure she received with her naming as the Managing Director of FCMB – following the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) – on May 1, 2021.

Further digs revealed that it has also helped the holder of a Bachelor degree in Chemistry from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife and a Master’s degree in International Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom that she has not been a “public person” before she assumed her present position.

SocietyNow.Ng learned it has also contributed to her “fate” that FCMB Group is headed by the extremely publicity shy but very goal oriented, Ladi Balogun.
