33 Arrested As Lagos Task Force Raids Black Spots, Chairman Tells Next Step

33 persons have been arrested in a raid of blackspots in Oshodi and its environs by the Lagos State Task Force.
Oshodi, Mafoluku and Airport road were raided based on “credible intelligence” by the Task Force led by CSP Shola Jejeloye SocietyNow.Ng gathered.
The arrested persons are undergoing interrogations before possible prosecutions SocietyNow.Ng learned.
“We carry out raids like these regularly to rid the streets of criminal elements who use the hideouts as safe haven after their criminal activities. We have rounded up 33 suspects who will be profiled and if found to be of questionable character or guilty of a crime, would be charged to court accordingly” Jejeloye, the chairman of the agency confirmed in a report monitored by SocietyNow.Ng on Lagosstate.gov.ng.
Jejeloye reported state that the investigation by the Lagos Task Force revealed that criminals use the blackspots as “takeoff points” to rob people in their homes or on the road.
