24hrs Before Alleged Armed Attack… ‘Over 100 Personal Houses, Yayi’s Achievement With Your Money’ Aeroland’s Supporters Litter Town With Pamphlet Detailing Fraud Against Opponent
Information available to societynowng.com revealed that 24 hours before Solomon Olamilekan Adeola released a statement alleging his opponent led a group of armed men to lay siege on his campaign office, supporters of Segun Adewale had hit town with a 4 page pamphlet alleging fraudulent content against the House of Representatives member seeking to become a Senator in the upcoming general elections.
Both Adeola popularly known as Yayi and Adewale widely addressed as Aeroland are vying to become Senator representing Lagos West.
Incidentally Adeola beat Adewale to his current position as Federal lawmaker from the same in an election dogged with speculations of irregularities.
‘Aeroland was a more popular candidate in that particular election, he spent more and pulled more crowd and was far more popular…it was a shock he lost to Yayi back then’ a source reminiscence
Current situations have however reversed the trend.
‘Yayi is the man of the moment…I doubt if there is any candidate that can match is fanatical following…he is spending far more than anybody I have heard of…the man goes as far as spending pounds, not even dollars…he has far greater popularity now’ another source disclosed.
Both Yayi and Aeroland are squaring on the same platforms they used in 2007.
The former is a member of the All Progressives Congress, the party at the helms of affairs in Lagos state while the latter belongs to the Peoples Democratic Party- the party in charge of the Federal Government.
Supporters of the two political gladiators have adopted a do or die approach since they announced intentions to vie for the same position against.
And the latest twist is allegations from Adeola that Adewale personally led armed thugs that shot into his campaign office.
The allegations was backed with pictures of damage caused and spent catridges.
The released visuals did not capture Adewale or any of his alleged co assailants.
Adeola was said to be around at the time of the occurence.
The matter is said to have been reported to the police.
Further digs by societynowng.com revealed 24hours before this development supporters of Aeroland while campaigning for votes with their principal distributed a four page pamphlet alleging fraud against their opponent.

The material went on to allege ‘ In 1998 while working for Guardian Newspaper, Yayi forged his direct boss’ signature for a fraud that ended his boss’s job. His former boss relocated to US where he currently drives Taxi for a living’.
Another page of the pamphlet shored up Adewale’s image with details of what he has done for the area under the title ‘Aeroland’s Achievement Without Government Assistance’
The material had the signature of ‘Lagos West Conscience Group’ as sponsored.
Talks within the community have it, this development laid the ground work for Saturday evening’s alleged armed attack on the Adeniyi Jones campaign office of Solomon Adeola.
How things move on from the latest twist remain to be seen.
